DESCRIPTION
The Bondloc B3298 is a two-component, toughened methacrylate structural adhesive formulated to deliver high-strength bonding across a range of substrates including metals, thermoplastics, and composites. Its rapid setting time and excellent environmental resistance make it ideal for demanding industrial, automotive, and engineering applications. The product features a convenient 1:1 mix ratio, thixotropic (low-sag) paste consistency, and capability to fill gaps up to 5 mm.

Applications
For metal surfaces, ensure all dust, loose scale, rust, oil, and grease are removed before bonding. Our MBS 1943 IPA Wipes are ideal for this preparation step. For maximum bond strength, we recommend abrading the metal surface prior to cleaning and applying adhesive. Polyolefins, thermoplastic polyesters, fluorocarbon plastics, and other low surface energy plastics are generally not suitable for bonding without specialised surface treatments.
