DESCRIPTION
The Kisling Ergo 1675-1 is a high-performance, two-part modified methacrylate adhesive, specifically designed for structural bonding of thermoplastics, metals, and composite materials. This non-sagging adhesive is ideal for industrial applications with a 10:1 mixing ratio (V: V) and a working time of 2 to 4 minutes. It offers a fast strength build-up, reaching 10 N/mm² in just 8 minutes, making it perfect for projects requiring short cycle times.
The cured adhesive provides a balanced combination of high stiffness and toughness, making it versatile for small-area applications like bonding holders, pins, and clips. Kisling Ergo 1675-1 complies with DIN EN 45545-2 chart 5, R1, R7, and R17 with HL1-3, ensuring it meets stringent safety standards for industrial use, particularly in environments involving composites.

Applications
For metal surfaces, ensure all dust, loose scale, rust, oil, and grease are removed before bonding. Our MBS 1943 IPA Wipes are ideal for this preparation step. For maximum bond strength, we recommend abrading the metal surface prior to cleaning and applying adhesive. Polyolefins, thermoplastic polyesters, fluorocarbon plastics, and other low surface energy plastics are generally not suitable for bonding without specialised surface treatments.
