DESCRIPTION
The 3M™ Tape Primer 94 is a versatile adhesion promoter designed to enhance the bond strength of 3M VHB tapes and other acrylic foam tapes on various surfaces such polyethylene, polypropylene, ABS, PET/PBT blends, concrete, wood, glass, metal and painted metal surfaces. Once applied, the primer dries quickly, forming a strong base that improves the adhesive's performance. It is ideal for use in automotive, construction, and industrial applications where a strong, reliable bond is essential.
Application
It must always be applied to a clean and dry surface, contaminated surfaces should be cleaned with a 50/50 Isopropyl Alcohol and water mixture. Our MBS 1943 Surface Preparation Wipes are ideal for this task. Once applied, allow to dry which usually takes 5 minutes at room temperature. Porous surfaces may require 2 applications of 3M™ 94 Primer for uniform coverage and good adhesion.
