DESCRIPTION
The Bondloc B3420 is a two-component, toughened methacrylate structural adhesive with a 10:1 mixing ratio. Engineered for primer-less bonding of composites, thermoplastics, and metals, it delivers superior performance in impact, peel, shear, compressive strength, and fatigue resistance across all bonded materials. With a rapid-setting formulation and a non-sag consistency, B3420 is ideal for vertical applications and can fill gaps up to 12mm.

Applications
For metal surfaces, ensure all dust, loose scale, rust, oil, and grease are removed before bonding. Our MBS 1943 IPA Wipes are ideal for this preparation step. For maximum bond strength, we recommend abrading the metal surface prior to cleaning and applying adhesive. Polyolefins, thermoplastic polyesters, fluorocarbon plastics, and other low surface energy plastics are generally not suitable for bonding without specialised surface treatments.
