DESCRIPTION
The Parasilico AM85-1 is a high-performance, neutral-curing (oxime) silicone sealant developed by DL Chemicals for durable, flexible, and weather-resistant sealing applications. It’s MEKO-free, non-corrosive, and specially formulated for use on a wide range of construction and industrial substrates, indoors and out.
Features
- Neutral Oxime Cure (MEKO-Free) - cures without acetic acid (no strong vinegar odour) and safe for sensitive materials like metals and natural stone.
- Permanently elastic maintains flexibility over time with excellent movement capability (up to ±25%) and elongation at break up to 300%.
- Excellent Weather & UV Resistance designed to perform in extreme temperatures (–50°C to +150°C) and withstand prolonged exposure to UV rays, moisture, and aging.
- Strong Adhesion – no primer needed and bonds directly to glass, metals, coated aluminium, wood, rigid PVC, and more. Primer may be needed for porous surfaces like brick or concrete.
- Indoor & Outdoor Use - Low VOC (<100 g/L) and compliant with CE standards, making it suitable for both interior and exterior joints.
